U.S. Supreme Court Justice Lectures at Tulane Law Summer Abroad Program in Greece

August 16, 2004

Professor Pheadon Kozyris lectures to students participating in the Tulane Law School Summer Abroad program on the island of Spetses in Greece.

Emerald blue water, warm sea breezes and a United States Supreme Court Justice highlighted Tulane Law School's summer abroad program in Greece. This year, Justice Antonin Scalia taught a course in Rhodos and was a featured lecturer in Spetses.  In Rhodos, Justice Scalia taught a course on “Separation of Powers” from July 11 – 24 and served as a special lecturer in Spetses from June 20- July 8.

United States Justice Antonin Scalia, one of the featured lecturers, takes time to enjoy Spetses.

Through the years, prominent scholars and prestigious federal judges have highlighted the Tulane international summer program faculty. In addition to Justices Rehnquist and Scalia, Justices Harry Blackmun, Stephen Breyer, and Ruth Bader Ginsburg have participated as visiting scholars.
