'Katrina Stories' written by 1L Mary Nagle performed Friday night.

January 11, 2006

Katrina Stories, Friday, January 13th, 7pm.
Tulane Law School, Room 110
This Friday evening, a group of law students and professors will perform a play written by first year law student Mary Nagle. Nagle wrote the play after conducting scores of interviews with administrators, staff members, faculty and law students. The play portrays the variety of horrific and uplifting experiences members of the Tulane Law School have experienced since Hurricane Katrina.
The students and professors began rehearsing as soon as they returned to New Orleans under the guidance of their student director, first year law student Lauren Checki.  Friday evening's performance will be a staged reading.  The students did not want to wait until further in the semester to perform, as Nagle explained. "We need to process what happened this fall now, not later."
The show is free and open to the public.  For further information, please contact Mary Nagle:  mnagle@law.tulane.edu
