Cato’s Roger Pilon at Tulane Sept. 11 to speak on the Constitution and liberty

Roger Pilon, director of the Cato Institute’s Center for Constitutional Studies, will talk about “Recovering Our Lost Constitution of Liberty” Sept. 11 at Tulane Law School.

Pilon’s remarks will be followed by commentary by Tulane Law Professor Herbert Larson and an audience question & answer session, then dinner.

The event, sponsored by Tulane’s student chapter of The Federalist Society, starts at 5:30 p.m. in the Appellate Moot Court Room, 110.

Pilon is a nationally known voice on constitutional interpretation and judicial philosophy. He speaks and writes often about restoring constitutional limits on government. He is publisher of Cato’s annual Supreme Court Review and an adjunct professor of government at Georgetown University through The Fund for American Studies.

Pilon holds a B.A. from Columbia University; an M.A. and a Ph.D. from the University of Chicago; and a J.D. from George Washington University School of Law.
