July 10, 2014

New Orleans Family District Court Judge Bernadette D’Souza (L ’92) gets featured in a nice profile on nolavie.com, a website dedicated to promoting New Orleans culture.

D’Souza started law school after her children were in school, then she worked as a legal aid attorney helping indigent clients and battered women before winning election to the bench.

Tulane Law School is well represented in the D’Souza family: Judge D’Souza’s daughter Vanessa, a patent attorney, graduated in 2008, and Vanessa’s husband, Michael DePetrillo, in ’07.
