Louisiana appeals court holding arguments at Tulane Law

November 03, 2014

A three-judge panel of Louisiana’s 5th Circuit Court of Appeal is hearing arguments Nov. 3 at Tulane Law School, providing students and faculty a chance to see the judges in action.

The session starts at 5 p.m. in the Wendell H. Gauthier Moot Court Room 110.

The panel consists of Judges Fredericka Wicker (L ‘77), Hans Liljeberg (L ‘86) and Robert Murphy. No cell phones, cameras or recording devices are permitted.

Four cases, covering criminal and civil issues, are on the docket: 

5 p.m.: Amy Steen Reggio v. Richard Nicholas Reggio

5:30 p.m.: Ladieux v. Jefferson Parish Hospital Service District No.2

6 p.m.: Becnel v. Advocare International L.P.

6:30 p.m.: State v. Winona Humphery
