Tulane Law Dean David Meyer sent the following message to faculty, staff and students:
"We’ve been informed that Tulane will be closing the campus today at noon because of the threat of severe weather. This means that the Law School will, of course, be closing and all staff, faculty, and students are encouraged to go home and weather the storm from there. Evidently, we are expecting severe storms with wind gusts approaching 80 mph and a chance of tornadoes. Most universities and institutions in the area are also closing at noon today."
All classes and events have been canceled for the afternoon and evening. Classes will be rescheduled.
