Mark Mintz

Adjunct Lecturer in Law

Biography:
Mark Mintz is a partner practicing in the firm's Business & Commercial Litigation Practice Group. He joined the firm in 2008, after serving as a law clerk to the Honorable Carl J. Barbier of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.

Mr. Mintz's practice focuses on a wide range of creditor and debtor rights, especially in the bankruptcy context. Mr. Mintz regularly represents secured and unsecured creditors in all types of bankruptcy cases. He has been retained by banks, international manufacturers, utilities, restaurant chains, hospitals, and mining companies, as well as the maritime and oil and gas-related industries. Mr. Mintz has also represented bankruptcy trustees in both Chapter 7s and 11s. .
