Summer Interview Program

Tulane University Law School hosts annual summer interview programs in New Orleans, LA, New York, NY and Houston, Texas. These events are the best opportunity for you to meet with and recruit Tulane Law students in person, as part of our comprehensive interview program. For employers that are not located in one of the cities that Tulane students will visit, or who are otherwise unable to attend our in person interview programs, we also host a National interview program during the summer which is completely virtual.

Each year Tulane Law School welcomes students from around the world.  Participating employers benefit from the opportunity to recruit from within our diverse pool of exceptional students. See below for dates and locations for each of our 2023 Summer Interview Programs.

2023 Employment Offer Guidance

Tulane’s CDO strives to provide our students with a fair and reasonable timeframe to make informed employment decisions. In order to preserve this privilege as well as to ensure employers are able to recruit successfully and make competitive hiring decisions, we have adopted the following guidelines which students and employers are expected to follow during summer recruiting:

Students: Tulane Law students may hold no more than three job offers at once.

Employers: Employers are asked to extend offers in accordance with the following guidelines based on the timing of interviews in their respective regional markets:

  • Nola Employers
Offers extended by local firms should remain open until the later of fourteen days after the offer is extended OR August 30th (i.e., two weeks after our Nola Interview Program).
  • Employers outside of NOLA, TX and NY markets
Offers extended by large firms in other markets should remain open until the later of fourteen days after the offer is extended OR  August 23rd (i.e., two weeks after our National Interview Program).  If possible, an extension should be granted if a student accompanies their request with an affirmation that they are seriously considering the opportunity.
  • TX Employers
Offers extended by large firms in TX should remain open until the later of fourteen days after the offer is extended OR  August 21st (i.e., two weeks after our TX Interview Program).  If possible, an extension should be granted if a student accompanies their request with an affirmation that they are seriously considering the opportunity.
  • NY Employers
Offers extended by large firms in NY should remain open until the later of fourteen days after the offer is extended OR  July 31st (i.e., two weeks after our NY Interview Program). If possible, an extension should be granted if a student accompanies their request with an affirmation that they are seriously considering the opportunity.
