Estate Planning Institute

Uptown Campus

We have decided to move the 30th Annual Estate Planning Institute to a virtual format. The program will be held on its original dates of October 28-29, 2021. In 2002, Tulane Law School established the Tulane Estate Planning Institute to provide a permanent forum for the study of estate planning laws in Louisiana, the United States and other jurisdictions. As part of the Institute’s goal to provide a setting for the discussion of legal and tax issues pertinent to estate planning, the Institute sponsors Tulane Law School’s annual estate planning continuing legal education program. This annual program, now known as the Estate Planning Institute, recognizes Tulane Law School’s renewed commitment to providing the highest quality instruction on the most important and topical issues facing estate planning professionals.

Due to the uncertainty surrounding COVID-19 and the potential impact on in-person meetings and travel in October, we will not be meeting in-person year. Instead, we will deliver the Institute to you in a virtual format, with live online presentations throughout the two days of programming. This virtual format will allow you to participate online in real time with speakers, including opportunities for Q&A, and will be structured to qualify for continuing education credit in various states. As an added bonus, we plan to record videos of all sessions and your registration fee will include online access to these recordings for later viewing at your convenience. To reflect this virtual format, and the missed opportunity to mingle with folks over coffee, we are offering lower registration fees. Click the fees tab on the top right of this page to take a look at our pricing this year.
