Ms. Park was recently named Director of Special Litigation and Public Policy at the Innocence Project New Orleans (beginning January 2017). From 2008 to September 2016, Ms. Park worked in the Orleans Public Defenders Office; at the time of her resignation, she served as Deputy Chief Defender, in which role she was responsible for developing office vision, strategic and campaign planning. Prior to joining OPD, she was a staff attorney for two years with the Bronx Defenders.
Ms. Park received her J.D. from UC-Berkeley in 2003 and her LL.M. in Clinical Education & Advocacy from Georgetown in October 2005, where she was selected as a teaching fellow in the Juvenile Justice Clinic through the Barrett E. Prettyman Fellowship Program. Prior to entering law practice, she clerked for the Hon. Emmet G. Sullivan, U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.
