Sirja-Leena Penttinen currently serves as assistant director of the Tulane Center for Energy Law, where her research focuses mainly on EU energy law and free movement law. From 2013 to 2018, she was a Lecturer at the Law School at the University of Eastern Finland (UEF). She has been a visiting researcher at University of Oslo and has conducted research at Florence Regulatory School. She has also regularly been engaged on consulting assignments, mainly for the public sector.
Ms. Penttinen received her master’s degree in Administrative Sciences from the UEF Department of Law. She is in the process of completing her doctorate in law from UEF Law School.
