The Disability & Health Law Society (D&H) is dedicated to finding unique and interesting ways to engage students in these critical areas of the law. D&H opens doors for students to directly engage with judges, attorneys, and other experts at our Professional Speakers Series discussions and other events held both at the law school and out in the community.
D&H organizes Continuing Legal Education (CLE) classes on trending topics in the legal profession. Taught by an expert practitioner, these classes attract professional attorneys seeking to enhance their practice skills and knowledge. This offers students another great opportunity to meet with attorneys who practice in your area of interest and build your professional network.
D&H also partners with local organizations to help raise awareness about disability and health issues. Our members proudly volunteer at local Special Olympics events each year, which is just one example of how we seek to build a sense of community with like-minded folks beyond Tulane.
D&H members recognize that law is a people business. We strive to mix both of those elements to create fun, engaging activities that deliver added value unique to our organization.
