Center for Energy Law & Baker Botts host Houston breakfast Oct. 22

Tulane Law’s Center for Energy Law and the Texas law firm of Baker Botts are co-hosting a breakfast program focused on ESG issues facing the oil and gas industry on Friday, Oct. 22.

The  program, titled, “ESG in Oil and Gas: How Upstream, Midstream and Investors are Rising to the Challenge,” will take place from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the Hotel ZaZa Memorial City, Great Expectations Ballroom, 9787 Katy Fwy, Houston.

The event will focus on ESG opportunities and challenges and will feature perspectives from leaders in the upstream, midstream and power sectors. 

Bobby Tudor (L’87), Chairman of Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Co. will provide the day’s keynote, which will be followed by panel presentations and a panel discussion moderated by Baker Botts Partner, Megan Berge. Other speakers include:

  • Julie Dalzell, Senior Climate Change Advisor of ConocoPhillips;
  • Eliot Cotton, Principal and Assistant General Counsel of Riverstone;
  • Marcus Brown, Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Entergy Corporation and a member of the Advisory Board for the Tulane Center for Energy Law.
