Chantal Carriere is a Senior Fellow focussed on Global LNG at the Tulane Energy Law & Policy Center and serves on the Center’s Global Research Council. She is an associate attorney in the Project Development and Finance Practice in White & Case’s Houston office. Chantal represents clients in complex domestic and international projects and commercial transactions, including project development and construction, joint ventures and investments, and commercial contracts for energy and energy transition projects, including upstream oil & gas (both onshore and offshore), LNG, power, biodiesel, hydrogen, carbon capture and storage, renewable energy and petrochemical. She also currently serves on the US Chapter Committee and the Young Negotiators Committee of the Association of International Energy Negotiators.
Chantal is licensed to practice law in Texas and holds Juris Doctorate degrees from both the University of Houston Law Center and the University of Calgary. Chantal received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of British Columbia. She is a native English speaker and is also fluent in French and Mandarin.
