Hamilton Wise currently serves as the Director, International Scouting and Development for the Texas Rangers and has been with the Rangers organization since 2016. He oversees the Rangers amateur scouting efforts outside of the United States, principally in Latin America, the Caribbean, Europe and Asia. In addition, Wise oversees the Rangers international player development efforts, based out of the club's Academy in the Dominican Republic.
Wise earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Northwestern University, where he was a four-year varsity baseball letter winner. He holds a Juris Doctor degree from Tulane University Law School, where he was co-chair of the Tulane International Baseball Arbitration Competition, leader of the Baseball Industry Focus Group, and a member of the ADR Moot Court Team, Sports Law Society, and Business Law Society. He also holds a Masters of Business Administration from the Tulane University A.B. Freeman School of Business.
