Comparative International Oil & Gas Law

This course reviews legal issues specific to the some of the main oil and gas producing and exporting countries. The course will spend about equal time looking at the legal regime for oil and gas production in the United States, Norway, Russia, and Saudi Arabia. Exploration, licensing, ownership, taxation, and liability for pollution damage are some of the issues that will be explored. (1 Credit)
