This course provides both an introduction to financial economics – e.g., how companies are valued, how investment decisions are made – and advanced coverage of corporation and contract law related to the financing of modern business enterprises.  The course will survey the rights and protections that exist for financial stakeholders in the corporate enterprise, including debtholders, preferred shareholders, holders of warrants and rights.  Business Enterprises is a pre-requisite or permission of instructor required.
