The course examines the immigration and naturalization processes of the United States with a focus on practical application, procedures, and statutory construction. Topics will include citizenship and naturalization, the admission and removal of immigrants and nonimmigrants, and the issues of undocumented immigration and national security. We will also address the intersection of immigration with other practice areas including employment, criminal, and family law. (3 Credits)
