Criminal Law Society was founded in 1998 to bring together students with an interest in criminal law and to educate members on internship and job opportunities available in the field. The Society endeavors to address all aspects of the system and has members interested in prosecution, defense, public interest work, legal aid, and law enforcement. The organization schedules speaker events and panels for a diverse group of criminal law practitioners, including criminal law professors, defense attorneys, prosecutors, judges, and local law enforcement officials. Members are also given resources for pursuing internships and community service opportunities.
