The Eberhard P. Deutsch International Law Society is an organization of law students interested in study and practice in international and transnational law. The activities and aims of the Society include sending students to off-campus conferences and bringing practitioners and academics to campus for talks on international law topics, assuring that students have information on international legal careers, summer internships, and international courses offered at Tulane, and facilitating participation in continuing legal education courses on international and transnational law topics. The Society has presented symposia on Human Trafficking, NAFTA and on International Comparative Environmentalism between the US and Cuba. The ILS Executive Board is continuing to expand the organization’s activities in the areas of international and transnational law.
