The Law School will host an event celebrating the remarkable life and legacy of Ed Sherman on Friday, November 18, from 4-5 p.m., in Room 110 of Weinmann Hall.

Sherman was the dean of Tulane Law from 1996 until 2001, and a law professor until he retired in 2015.

The Tulane Law Hall of Fame Luncheon will be held May 13, 2022 at 11:30 a.m. at the New Orleans Marriott Warehouse Arts District Hotel, 859 Convention Center Boulevard.

For his contributions to Tulane Law, including his decades teaching and the founding of the trial advocacy program, the law school is hosting a celebration of life for Julian Murray (L'64) on Jan. 30, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the John Giffen Weinmann Hall, 6329 Freret St, and Room 110. A reception will follow.

Murray taught generations of law students the skills to make them effective in a courtroom, and as attorneys. Tulane Law School is forever grateful for his more than 30 years of service to the New Orleans legal community.

 

 

The Law School will celebrate the inauguration of the Tulane-Yongxiong Center for International Credit Law Studies.
