Biography

Brandon Thibodeaux is an associate with Frilot LLC in New Orleans, practicing in the firm’s Maritime, Energy and Commercial Litigation Sections. He represents the interests of P&I clubs, hull & machinery underwriters, foreign and domestic vessel owners and operators, NVOCCs, freight forwarders, cargo owners and underwriters, offshore contractors, marine surveyors as well as domestic freight brokers in a variety of admiralty and maritime matters. Prior to joining Frilot LLC, he clerked for the Hon. Donald E. Walter (U.S.D.C. W.D. La.) and the Hon. S. Maurice Hicks, Jr. (U.S.D.C. W.D. La.).

Mr. Thibodeaux received his JD magna cum laude in 2009 from Tulane Law School, where he was Symposium and Managing Editor of the Tulane Maritime Law Journal. He holds an M.S. in International Finance and Economic Policy from the University of Glasgow Faculty of Law; an M.A. in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Ulster; and a B.B.A. summa cum laude from Loyola University New Orleans.
