Biography

Emma Antin Daschbach is a managing member of Jones, Swanson, Huddell & Garrison LLC, where she leads the firm’s environmental litigation team. From 2013 to 2017, she spearheaded the landmark Southeast Louisiana Flood Protection Authority–East case against nearly 100 oil and gas companies for damage to Louisiana’s coastal wetlands. She has also represented landowners throughout Louisiana in land and groundwater contamination cases.

Before joining Jones Swanson in 2011, she was a commercial litigation associate at Sher Garner Cahill Richter Klein & Hilbert in New Orleans and Siller Wilk LLP in New York City. She is currently Vice-Chair of the Louisiana State Bar Association’s Environmental Law Section.

Ms. Daschbach earned her JD magna cum laude from Tulane Law School in 2001, where she received the Civil Law Studies Award and was named McGlinchey Scholar. She also holds an LLM in International Law from Columbia Law School (where she was named a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar). She earned her B.A. magna cum laude from Duke University
