Biography

José R. Cot is a Director in the New Orleans law firm of Hurley & Cot, APLC.  Mr. Cot’s practice focuses on maritime personal injury and property damage claims, products liability, offshore energy and platform law, commercial litigation, contractual and indemnity claims, and first- and third-party insurance coverage analysis and litigation.

Mr. Cot received his B.A. degree (cum laude with departmental honors in Political Science/International Relations) from Tulane University and a J.D. from Tulane Law School, where he pursued the Civil Law curriculum.
