Biography

Kathy Rito is an attorney with Jones Walker LLP, serving as Special Counsel in the Health Care/General Litigation group. She was previously Of Counsel with The Middleberg Riddle Group in New Orleans, where she managed the firm’s medical/professional liability practice. Ms. Rito has represented health care providers, businesses and public entities in litigation and alternative dispute resolution. Her practice has also included preparation of medical review panel papers and presentation of in-house seminars regarding health law, quality and risk management issues.

Ms. Rito earned her JD from Tulane Law School in 2007, where she received the Tulane Law Community Service Award. She received her BA in Sociology and Latin American Studies summa cum laude from Tulane in 2004.
