Biography
Ross Garber is the founding principal of The Garber Group LLC and a legal analyst for CNN. He was previously a partner in the Hartford and Washington, D.C. offices of Shipman & Goodwin LLP, where he served as co-chair of the firm’s Government Investigations and White Collar Crime Group and oversaw the firm’s International Trade practice. Mr. Garber has represented numerous corporations, executives, professionals, and public officials and agencies in connection with investigations by law enforcement, regulators and legislative bodies—including four governors facing impeachment proceedings.
Mr. Garber received a JD with honors from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 1992, where he was on the editorial board of the Journal of International Law. He received a BA in English with honors from U. Conn. in 1989.
