Tulane Journal of International and Comparative Law

We are currently receiving submissions for Volume 28 (2019-20).  Thank you for your interest in the Tulane Journal of International and Comparative Law.

The Tulane Journal of International and Comparative Law publishes works by leading academics, practitioners, and judges from around the world on a wide variety of topics of international and comparative law. In order to promote a diverse range of topics, ideas, and opinions, the Journal imposes few restrictions on the submissions, asking only that when considering length, potential authors abide by the Harvard New Articles Length Policy.

The Tulane Journal of International and Comparative Law welcomes scholarly articles from legal academics and professionals alike. We publish bianually and take into consideration the following criteria when evaluating article submissions. Each article should be submitted in Times New Roman, 12 point font, with one-inch margins. There is a limit of 20,000 words per article, excluding footnotes. The submissions should be in Bluebook format, 20th edition, with substantial support and analysis.

We prefer articles that are primarily legal in scope, although multi-disciplinary articles are welcome. Unfortunately, we do not accept student pieces. Preference will be given to articles written in English, although submissions in other languages are accepted.

Please submit all articles to or ExpressO. Although article submissions are welcome at any time, the two annual publication windows where we actively review and select articles are March 1st–August 15th and October 1st–January 15th.

License Agreement

As a condition of acceptance, the authors of all articles offered publication will be subject to the Journal's license agreement.
