Give Green Returns for Ninth Year
Tulane University’s annual day of giving, Give Green, is right around the corner, marking the ninth year of the university community coming together to support the people, programs and opportunities that define the Tulane experience. For 24 hours, students, alumni, faculty and staff unite to celebrate generosity and make a collective impact across campus.
Give Green will officially kick off at 6:34 p.m. on April 7, a nod to Tulane’s founding in 1834, and continue through 2 a.m. central time on April 8. Those eager to participate can get a head start, as the donation portal opens on March 30. Early giving helps build momentum heading into the main event and positions Tulane Law for success in key challenges.
Like every year, participation plays an especially important role. A number of donor challenges are tied to reaching specific milestones in the number of contributors, including students, alumni and faculty and staff. In addition, the Big Green Grand Prize will award extra funding to the school or unit with the highest number of donors, making every gift, no matter the size, meaningful.
Support during Give Green directly benefits Tulane Law by funding scholarships, expanding skills-based training opportunities, and strengthening career development resources for students. Just as importantly, each contribution helps build a culture of giving that elevates the law school’s impact and visibility for years to come.
