Murphy Institute to Host Forum on Louisiana Insurance Crisis

On Tuesday, October 28, The Murphy Institute's Center for Law and Economy at Tulane University will host Louisiana’s Insurance Crisis: From Risk to Reform, a half-day program from 12:45-5:45 PM at Tulane Law School and Tulane Newcomb Institute. The event will bring together scholars, advocates, and policymakers to examine the residential insurance crisis in Louisiana and beyond, and to discuss possible reforms.

Highlighting the program is a keynote address by former Governor John Bel Edwards. He will be joined by an exceptional group of state leaders, national experts, and community advocates, including:

  • Daniel Schwarcz (University of Minnesota Law)
