Professor Grochowski Appointed to ERCL Editorial Board
Mateusz Grochowski, associate professor at Tulane Law, has been appointed to the Editorial Board of the European Review of Contract Law (ERCL), one of the globally leading journals in the field contract law.
Grochowski is an expert in contract law, consumer protection and comparative private law. His work specifically looks at transnational consumer and contract law in the digital economy. As an Editorial Board member, Grochowski joins an impressive slate of leaders from the University of Zurich, the London School of Economics, King’s College London, University Pompeu Fabra, the University of Amsterdam and Bocconi University.
The ERCL is widely regarded as a key point of reference for researchers, judges and practitioners across Europe and beyond. Its publications address a wide range of issues, from evolving global patterns and emerging legal theories to the relationships between different national systems and developments within EU contract law.
Since joining Tulane Law in 2024, Grochowski has built an expanding international presence through his scholarship and speaking engagements, including appearances at the United Nations and the European Parliament. In 2026, he was named the Gordon Gamm Faculty Scholar, a distinction that supports his research on transnational consumer law in the digital era. As the Gordon Gamm Faculty Scholar, he will organize the 2026 Gamm Comparative Law and Justice Symposium.
