Tulane Law’s Center for Energy Law and the Texas law firm of Baker Botts are co-hosting a breakfast program focused on ESG issues facing the oil and gas industry on Friday, Oct. 22.

The  program, titled, “ESG in Oil and Gas: How Upstream, Midstream and Investors are Rising to the Challenge,” will take place from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the Hotel ZaZa Memorial City, Great Expectations Ballroom, 9787 Katy Fwy, Houston.

The event will focus on ESG opportunities and challenges and will feature perspectives from leaders in the upstream, midstream and power sectors.

Prof. Darren Hutchinson, the John Lewis Chair for Civil Rights and Social Justice at Emory University, will be Tulane Law School's Dreyfous Lecturer for the 2021 academic year. 

The 32nd Annual CLE by the Hour will take place December 28-29, 2022 at the Law School. Program details and registration will be available later this summer.

 Professor Okko Behrends, one of Europe's foremost experts in classical Roman law, is the 2021 Eason-Weinmann Lecturer at Tulane Law School.

The lecture, titled " The Spirit of Roman Law Re-Evaluated" will be held Oct. 26, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Tulane Law School, 6329 Freret St. in Room 110, the Wendell H. Gauthier Moot Court Room.  A reception will follow.

Tulane Law’s annual recognition of Constitution Day takes place Friday, Sept. 17 from noon to 1 p.m. in a virtual format.

The 30th Biennial Tulane Admiralty Law Institute (ALI) will be March 20-22, 2024. Program details and Registration available here.  

 

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit will consider three cases on their docket at Tulane Law School, 6329 Freret St. as part of efforts to bring the court to the public.
