Biography
Suzanne Scalise is the Director of Academic Success at Tulane Law School. She joined Tulane in 2024 after more than a decade as Director of Bar Exam Preparation at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law. In that role, she served as Professor of the Practice and focused on supporting students and graduates in achieving academic and professional success.
Scalise earned her J.D. from Loyola, where she was a member of both the Law Review and the Moot Court Board. Following law school, she clerked for the Hon. Carl J. Barbier and the Hon. Mary Ann Vial Lemmon of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana. She went on to practice law with Gordon, Arata, McCollam, Duplantis & Eagan, L.L.C. (now Gordon, Arata, Montgomery, Barnett, McCollam, Duplantis & Eagan, L.L.C) and Stanley, Reuter, Ross, Thornton & Alford, L.L.C. (now Stanley Reuter Alfred Owen Munson & Paul, L.L.C), and later served as a central staff attorney for the Louisiana Supreme Court.
