Biography

Travis L. Gray joined Tulane Law in 2025 as a Forrester Fellow. He received his J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School and his B.A., summa cum laude, in Public Policy Leadership, French, and Political Science from the University of Mississippi. He recently completed his LL.M. in Agricultural and Food Law at the University of Arkansas School of Law, where he taught Federal Courts and an upper-level writing course on Federal Appellate Practice. 

Gray comes to Tulane from Baker Botts LLP, where he practiced in the appellate litigation group for nearly a decade.  While in private practice, he has represented clients before the U.S. Supreme Court and various state and federal appellate courts. Gray clerked for the Hon. Rhesa Barksdale on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
