Jessica Wood

Jessica M. Wood joined the Tulane Domestic Violence Clinic as a Visiting Clinical Assistant Professor in 2025. Over the past decade, Wood has represented and advocated on behalf of survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse and neglect through her work at Southeast Louisiana Legal Services (SLLS). 

Prior to joining the clinic, she supervised a team of attorneys and staff across multiple offices and jurisdictions as the Managing Attorney of the Domestic Violence Unit. During her time at SLLS, she also trained and mentored new attorneys and law students in litigation and trauma-informed advocacy and has served on numerous coalitions and task forces aimed at improving services provided to survivors.

Jessica holds a J.D. from Tulane University Law School and is licensed to practice law in Louisiana
