Celebrate Tulane Law at Wave Weekend 2026

Wave Weekend returns November 5–8, welcoming thousands of Tulanians to campus to celebrate the traditions and spirit of the Tulane community. Tulane Law alumni are invited to reconnect with classmates, explore Weinmann Hall and cheer on the Green Wave. 

The weekend kicks off at 11 a.m. on Friday with “Raise a Glass to Your Class,” where Dean Marcilynn Burke will share updates from the law school and toast the Tulane Law alumni community. Attendees can then take tours of Weinmann Hall, before enjoying two sessions of the Spotlight Speaker Series: 

  • NIL and College Sports: How We Got Here, and Where We’re Going; featuring Kelly Comarda (B ’04), Erinn Banks (L ’13), and Fritz Metzinger (L ’17); Moderated by Eric Blevins (L ’11)  | Location: Weinmann Hall, Gauthier Moot Court Room (#110) | Time: 12:15 PM – 1:15 PM 
  • Children’s Legal Needs and the Impact of the Lutz Family Public Interest Fellowship; featuring Kirby Casciato (L ’18), Kellie Jackson (L ‘24), Natalie Paul (L ‘19), and Laurel Sheridan (L ’20); Moderated by Jessica Wood Williams (L ’14) | Location: Weinmann Hall, Gauthier Moot Court Room (#110) | Time: 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM 

Afterward, visitors are encouraged to stop by the final round of the Tulane Entertainment Negotiation Competition, taking place at 3:15 p.m. in Room 110. The Tulane Entertainment and Negotiation Competition is a simulated legal negotiation competition focused on contract negotiation and dispute resolution.

Reunion-eligible law classes, including 1976, 1981, 1986, 1991, 1996, 2001, 2006, 2011, 2016 and 2021, will celebrate together Friday evening at The Josephine. All Tulanians are also invited to The Tipping Point, a fundraising concert benefitting student scholarship support. 

Saturday’s festivities kick off with a Law Alumni Tailgate before the Tulane Green Wave takes on Tulsa in Yulman Stadium. Tickets can be purchased here.
