As assistant dean of academic services, Colleen Timmons is responsible for managing schedules and setting priorities for major academic processes: registration, exams, graduation and dismissals. She also oversees the collection, recording and reporting of information associated with Tulane Law students' enrollment and performance, and her office monitors students' progress to ensure compliance with law school policies. She also is responsible for administration of Tulane Law's summer abroad programs.
Before joining the Tulane Law administration, Timmons was assistant to the dean of the B.I. Moody III College of Business Administration at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
