Tulane University Law School hosts annual summer interview programs in New Orleans, LA, New York, NY and Houston, Texas. These premier events are an excellent opportunity for you to meet with and recruit Tulane Law students in person, in a city near you. For employers that are not located in one of the cities that Tulane students will visit, or who are otherwise unable to attend our in person interview programs, we also host a National interview program during the summer which is completely virtual.
Each year Tulane Law School welcomes students from around the world, with our 2022 graduating class including students representing over 35 of the United States and 5 foreign countries. Employers participate annually to benefit from the opportunity to recruit from within our diverse pool of exceptional students. Law firms, non-profit organizations, corporations, etc. are welcome to participate in this event annually. 2022 Fall Interviews will begin in September and extend through the Fall Semester.
Throughout the year, employers may also list job postings and post resume collects with the Career Development Office. In order to provide students and employers a fair and reasonable timeframe for making hiring decisions, Tulane Law students are advised not to hold more than three job offers at once. Further, we request employers to extend offers in accordance with the following timelines:
Allow students at least until August 1st to accept offers extended as a result of our NY Interview Program, and until August 12th if an extension is requested by the student. When granting an extension, employers may also require an affirmation that the student is seriously considering the summer opportunity.
Allow students at least until August 18th to accept offers extended as a result of our Houston Interview Program, and until August 25th if an extension requested by the student. When granting an extension, employers may also require an affirmation that the student is seriously considering the summer opportunity.
Allow students at least until August 30th (2 weeks after August 16th) to accept offers extended as a result of our New Orleans Early Interview Program.
