Please join us for the 7^th Annual Tulane Pro Basketball Negotiation Competition (TPBNC), which will take place on February 22nd and 23rd 2024.

About the Competition

How a New Orleans conference became a ‘retreat’ for NBA execs, present and future

TPBNC focuses on a unique component of sports: negotiating player contracts. Participating teams will be given certain objectives, and will be scored based on a multitude of factors including negotiation strategy, knowledge of the NBA Collective Bargaining Agreement, and the quality of the agreed-upon deal. Industry experts will be brought in to judge these rounds and provide feedback to the competitors. In the past, experts have ranged from NBA General Managers to player agents, to ESPN writers and reporters.
