Emily Wojna-Hodnett, a proud alumna of Tulane Law School, was appointed to Dean of Students in 2024. Dean Wojna-Hodnett counsels students on a wide range of academic, personal, and professional matters and is the primary advisor for the Law School’s 40+ student organizations. Together with the members of the Student Affairs team, she coordinates and supports a range of student services, programming, and special events.
Dean Wojna-Hodnett transitioned to student affairs following a decade of service in the Law School's Office of Admission, first as the Assistant Director before being promoted to Director of Admissions and International Student Recruitment and Enrollment. During her time in admissions, she presented annually at various Law School Admission Council Forums, coordinated Tulane's involvement in a number of pre-law events aimed at diversifying the legal profession, and counseled thousands of prospective students throughout their law school application journeys. While in law school, Dean Wojna-Hodnett was an active member of the Student Bar Association, a representative for the Graduate and Professional School Assembly, and a member of the Moot Court Board.
Dean Wojna-Hodnett is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, the Louisiana State Bar Association, the Association of American Law Schools, and the National Association of Law Student Affairs Professionals.
