English Proficiency Exam Update

International Students affected by the Coronavirus

In response to testing centers closing due to the Coronavirus Outbreak, Tulane Law School has temporarily approved the use of the Duolingo English Test, replacing the TOEFL and IELTS proficiency exams. Duolingo English tests will be accepted for Fall 2021 admission.

The Duolingo English Test is entirely online and will test your reading, speaking, writing and listening abilities. The exam takes less than an hour, and results are emailed back to you within a few days. Detailed information on the Duolingo English Test can be found here: https://englishtest.duolingo.com/

Please note that Tulane Law School will take in consideration, not only the Duolingo English Test results, but also additional evaluation sources, such as English coursework, writing samples, etc.
