Sports Law Advisory Board Member: Aileen Dagrosa

Aileen Dagrosa joined the Philadelphia Eagles in 2007 as director of legal affairs. She was named the team’s general counsel in 2010 and has been in her current role as senior vice president, general counsel since 2013.

As senior vice president, general counsel Dagrosa is responsible for overseeing legal affairs, human resources and government affairs.  She advises on legal aspects pertaining to both business and football operations and Lincoln Financial Field, including player transactions, compliance, sponsorship, licensing, event, media agreements, employment-related issues, disputes, risk management, government relations and insurance.

Prior to joining the Eagles, Dagrosa worked as a corporate associate at Proskauer Rose LLP in New York. She participated in private equity buyouts, mergers and acquisitions, and sports financing acquisitions. Her clients included the Philadelphia Eagles, New York Jets, National Basketball Association, New Jersey Devils, Orlando Magic, Towers Perrin, and Veronis Suhler Stevenson.

Dagrosa is licensed to practice law in New York and in-house in Pennsylvania, and is a member of the Sports Lawyers Association. She earned a B.A. in psychology from Yale University and a J.D. with a certif- icate in sports law from Tulane Law School.

Dagrosa also currently serves as the President of the Yale Volleyball Association. Additionally, she is a member of the Tulane Sports Law Advisory Board.

Aileen and her husband, Anthony, reside in New Jersey with their two children.
