This course covers the law relating to oil and gas exploration, development, and production. The class will largely focus on issues related to oil and gas leases but will also cover the nature and classification of other mineral rights and related issues. The course will include common law doctrines as well as certain Louisiana law concepts. The course will be taught by Aimee Hebert, a partner in the law firm Kelly, Hart & Pitre. (2 Credits)
