We are currently accepting submissions for Volume 27. Thank you for your interest in publishing with the Tulane Journal of Technology and Intellectual Property.
The Tulane Journal of Technology and Intellectual Property accepts submissions from law school graduates. The Journal publishes once a year in the spring.
While our Journal has no minimum or maximum page requirements for submissions, we believe that journal articles can convey their arguments effectively in 40-70 journal pages (between 20,000 and 35,000 words including text and footnotes) and encourage authors to target the lengths of their papers accordingly.
JTIP uses Microsoft Word-based editing software and requests that documents be submitted in either Microsoft Word document format or a compatible document type.
The citations of the Tulane Journal of Technology and Intellectual Property adhere to the rules outlined in The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation (20th ed. 2015). In terms of style, the Journal follows the guidelines set forth in The Gregg Reference Manual by William A Sabin (11th ed. 2011) and highly encourages submitting authors to reference these materials for guidance.
When submitting a manuscript, please include a cover letter that provides your address, telephone number, e-mail address, and the title of your manuscript. Also, please include a CV or resume.
In general, the Journal accepts submissions through ExpressO, Scholastica, and through direct email to jtiparticles@gmail.com.
Please note that JTIP does not currently publish articles submitted by students enrolled at other law schools.
