Lipton paper is top 10 best in corporate and securities law for 2020
Tulane Law Prof. Ann Lipton’s article, Not Everything Is about Investors: The Case for Mandatory Stakeholder Disclosure, published in Vol 37 of the Yale Journal on Regulation, made the Corporate Practice Commentator’s list of the 10 Best Articles of 2020.
Lipton is widely recognized among the top corporate and securities law scholars in the nation. Her article was selected by corporate and securities law scholars from a field of more than 320 articles as one of the 10 most important published in the field.
Lipton is an experienced securities and corporate litigator who has handled class actions involving some of the world’s largest companies. A former law clerk to Supreme Court Justice David Souter, she joined Tulane’s law faculty in 2015. In 2016, she was named as Tulane's first Michael Fleishman Associate Professor in Business Law & Entrepreneurship.
Each year, she hosts the annual Corporate Law Roundtable on the heels of Tulane’s Corporate Law Institute, where she gathers some of the nation’s top scholars in M&A, securities and corporate law for a day of discussions on topics important to the industry.
