Tulane Law alumni invited to San Francisco reception Jan. 4

Tulane Law School alumni and friends are invited to a Jan. 4 reception in San Francisco at the offices of Morrison & Foerster, 425 Market St.

The event, at 6:30-8:30 p.m. is hosted by Morrison & Foerster partner Bernie Pistillo (L ’81), a federal tax law specialist and member of the Tulane Law dean’s advisory board.

The evening includes remarks by Dean David Meyer and a presentation by Professor Martin Davies, director of the Tulane Maritime Law Center, on the Ballast Water Management Convention, the opening of the new Panama Canal locks and how together they increase the pressure for scrapping underperforming ships.
