The Tulane Law School Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program offers free tax preparations to people who make $58,000 or less, persons with disabilities, the elderly and limited English speaking taxpayers who need assistance in preparing their own tax returns.

The clinic is run by Tulane Law School students passionate about preparing taxes for the community; they welcome members of the Tulane University community as well as locals who meet the income criteria to come to the law school and have their taxes prepared. The program accepts walk-ins.

VITA offers tax preparation in most tax preparation fields: W-2s, investment income, gig and sole proprietorship income, HSAs, unemployment income, military returns and the like.

Tulane Law VITA Clinic runs every Saturday until April 9,  from 9:00AM until 4:30PM at Tulane Law School, 6329 Freret Street. For information, call 504-862-3518 or email vita@tulane.edu
