Biography

Matthew Brown is a partner at Sullivan Stolier LLC, where he represents physicians, hospitals, and other health care organizations and businesses, governmental entities and nonprofits, in transactions, regulatory matters and administrative and judicial proceedings. He was previously a partner in the Healthcare Practice Group of Locke, Liddell, & Sapp, L.L.P. He is a former Chair of the Governmental and Public Law Section of the Louisiana State Bar.

Mr. Brown received his J.D. magna cum laude from Tulane Law School in 1986, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif, an editor of the Tulane Law Review, and a national finalist for Tulane at the Jessup Moot Court Competition. He received his B.A. with high honors from Wheaton College in 1977.
