The Annual Tulane Moot Court Mardi Gras Invitational will be held over a 4-day period from February 13 - February 16, 2023.
About the Competition
Mardi Gras Invitational is the only annual moot court appellate competition that focuses on contemporary legal problems confronting the sports industry. The competition draws the best law schools and moot court programs in the country and takes place during one of the most exciting times in New Orleans, Mardi Gras.
The registration fee for the competition is $950.
In the past, judges have included Don Fehr, Executive Director of the NHL Players Association, Richard Berthelson, General Counsel of the NFL Players Association, Stan Kasten, Former President of the Atlanta Hawks, Atlanta Thrashers, Atlanta Braves, and Washington Nationals, Andrew Brandt, ESPN Business Analysis and Lecturer at Wharton Sports Business Initiative, and many others.
The competition will be held at the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.
