Tulane Law joins Xiangtan University faculty in academic conference
In October, Tulane Law faculty joined with Xiangtan University faculty in an inaugural academic conference on comparative credit law in Changsha, China.
The effort is part of the recent launch of the Tulane-Yongxiong Center for International Credit Law in partnership with Xiangtan University in Hunan Province, China. The partnership is part of an ongoing exchange of faculty teaching short courses at the two partner institutions, funding faculty research collaboration and 25 full-tuition scholarships annually for Xiangtan students to pursue LLM degrees at Tulane. The Tulane-Yongxiong Center will provide support for students and for faculty research and teaching collaborations relating to international finance and credit law.
