Biography

As a Distinguished Fellow at the Tulane Center for Environmental Law, McKeige assists in connecting the Center and the Tulane community with a variety of aspects of the environmental and climate movement.

As Senior Counsel at Environmental Integrity Project (EIP), McKeige primarily helps with EIP’s work on systemic air and water pollution impacting people across Texas and Louisiana. He has broad environmental law experience having worked on clean water cases and initiatives for Long Island Sound and the Adirondack Park. He is also Editor-in-Chief of The Climate Capitalist and has written and published more than 100 articles covering a broad scope of financial and economic issues surrounding climate change. 

As former Managing Partner at the shareholder litigation firm Bernstein Litowitz Berger & Grossmann, McKeige was instrumental in the growth and success of that firm. He has spent the last decade as a hedge fund and commercial real estate executive. He is a member of the Earth Justice Council.

McKeige earned a B.A. with honors in economics from Tufts University, and a J.D., magna cum laude from Tulane Law School, where he was a member of the Tulane Law Review. He is a member of the New York Bar.
